Concrete Operator

All Ways Construction is looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to fill openings on our concrete crew.

We are currently seeking an operator for our concrete paving crew

Pay and Benefits

• $24 + / hour depending on qualifications

Responsibilities and Duties

Essential Duties

• Operate excavator/skid loader/other equipment – using excavator to excavate and compact dirt, aggregate to create a smooth surface and specified grading.
• Loading/unloading trucks with materials.
• Work will consist of operating equipment as well as some labor work, it will not be 100% in a machine.
• Moving and positioning the machine in response to signal from crew members.
• Establish sub base prep to specifications.
• Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED is preferred and one (1) to two (2) years of related experience in these fields
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Candidate must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to work in a number of diverse locations is pertinent, as work locations may change daily.
• Expected hours: hours will vary by job, location and season.
• Good interpersonal and teambuilding skills
• Must have adequate transportation to work
• Adhere to safety procedures/guidelines at all times
• Punctuality, consistent attendance and self-direction for the success of the operations.
